Williams, Andy - In The Arms Of Love Lyrics

If I could hold you in the arms of love tonight
I'd never let you go
As the hours go by I'd show you why we've waited for this
As two lovers whisper low

If I could feel that magic kiss your lips invite
Imagine the joys I'd know
The day has died away, let's find a hideaway
And share the promise of a new tomorrow
In the arms of love tonight

The day has died away, let's find a hideaway
And share the promise of a new tomorrow
In the arms of love tonight

Hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm
Hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm

    Beautifully Sung

  2. B.... M....

I listened to this song as a boy and always thought he was one of the best. Thanks for posting this. Wonder if it was a song he did with his brothers barbershop style.

  3. M.... N....

A minor UK hit for Andy, reaching the Radio Caroline charts September 1966

  4. H.... H....

Andy has the most beautiful voice, sound production, orchestras and arrangements.
I have followed Andy since I was a teenager and love his calming musical influence.
Its a long story but in the 80s my late mother and I went to one of his birthday parties at Millionaires club in Manchester UK which was in aid of charity, where we met him.
We saw him perform in the 80s in Halifax UK at the Civic theatre and I was amazed, in fact mum said I was mesmerized.

Andy Williams is one of the most underrated singers to ever use a microphone. Beautiful voice, fantastic phrasing, and the ability to sing just about anything. Smooth as silk, with a wonderful technique to boot. All singers do some things really well but Williams comes closest to being the perfect all around popular singer. It drives me nuts when he is relegated to being several rungs below folks like Sinatra or Tony Bennett. He was just as good and in many cases better.

Couldn't agree more, Waldo--have always much preferred Williams over Sinatra and Bennett. Thanks for watching and commenting :))

I one time heard this on the school bus while on a school trip. I thought it was Frank Sinatra singing but when I Shazamed the song, it was Andy Williams!

    C.... M....

Odd, as he sounds NOTHING like Sinatra.
