Williams, Andy - Don't You Believe It Lyrics

If you should hear
That someone new
Has eased the pain
Of losing you

Don't you believe it
Not for a moment
Don't you believe it
Because it isn't true

Those angry words
That made us part
Put out the flame
That's in my heart

Don't you believe it
Not for a moment
Don't you believe it
Because it isn't true

I haven't changed
I still love you
And it will always be

I only hope and
I pray each night
You'll feel the
Same about me

So if you hear
Some false alarms
Like you're not welcome
In my arms

Don't you believe it
Not for a moment
Don't you believe it
Because it isn't true

Oh, how I still love you

No drugs, no tri-sexua deviations, no personality disorders, no illegal trades behind the scenes, no troubled past, no warring families, in fact, nothing but Mr Niceguy. How did you go SOOO wrong?
Only kidding, Sir, I've loved your music since I was a child, and I still whistle, hum or sing along with at least a couple a day.
Thank you, Andy Williams, for great so many great musical memories.

Jackie Trent &Tony Hatch had hit with this song in the 60's.  I think this is the better version.

Yes I like the arrrangement by Tony Hatch and their stirring performance.
I am a fan of Andy Williams as well, but not so much on this song
