It isn't even being played on the radio here in the northeast and not on the billboard charts. They just won't play country singers too often anyone, only the pop. Cody Johnson is finally heading up the carts with his new song. He is no longer under contract with warner Bros Nashville. I hope it was his choice!

Cody Johnson signed with Warner, that is helping him big time getting promoted and radio airtime deservedly so. Cody was approached several times by big labels and he turned them down until Warner finally agreed to his terms and that he was going to play HIS music HIS way. Good for him! He does have a sound similar to Luke Combs on some of his songs, but many are straight up cowboy and he does not hide is love for God and Jesus. I am not sure why they couldn't do the same from WMM. Not sure what all the reasons are why that contract dissolved.
