William Michael Morgan - Beer Drinker Lyrics

If you like that car you're ridin' in
Yeah, the Chevrolet or the Mercedes-Benz
If the road is paved you're drivin' on
That leads you to the house you call your home
If there's wires in the wall and there's paint on the porch
You got a whole lot to be thankful for

Thank a beer drinker, a beer drinker
Somebody got somethin' done, brother
You can figure it's a beer drinker and an old ball cap
Dirt on his hands and an ache in his back
So let's give it up for the guys on the clock
That work all week and then twist one off
Thank a beer drinker

And if you like that steak you're bitin' into
Or if your hot tub's hot, if your A/C's cool
If your roof don't leak and your fridge is filled
With stuff shipped in on eighteen wheels
When you push that button, when you flip that switch
If it all comes on without a hitch

Thank a beer drinker, a beer drinker
Somebody got somethin' done, brother
You can figure it's a beer drinker and an old ball cap
Dirt on his hands and an ache in his back
So let's give it up for the guys on the clock
That work all week and then twist one off
Thank a beer drinker

Yeah, I'll stop here 'cause the list is long
Just one last thing if you like this song
Thank a beer drinker
Oh, I'm a beer drinker, are you a beer drinker

Oh, thank a beer drinker, a beer drinker
Somebody got somethin' done, brother
You can figure it's a beer drinker and an old ball cap
Dirt on his hands and an ache in his back
So let's give it up for the guys on the clock
That work all week and give us all we got
Thank a beer drinker

Oh, I'm a beer drinker, are you a beer drinker

People who listen to country are too scared to do 100 tabs of acid, but they'll drink beer without even knowing the LD50.

Let's get a tour started. WMM and Mo Pitney. That's all you need, there's a ticket I'd buy!

  23. Shaun Dudley

@ Brittany B why did you put jamey Johnson on your garbage list he has tons a really cool country songs and they sound country too so what gives?

  24. David Corn

this should be a single for no other reason than it is the truth

  25. Jeff Z

Why isn't WMM headlining stadiums? Easily the best, most country singer to come out in a long time.

    Ash L

Brittany B you can't call Chris Stapleton garbage! I agree with most of what you said, granted a lot of country music these days is pop influenced but that's not always a bad thing, either way country is still great. We still have guys like Blake Shelton, WMM, Chris Young etc that are keeping country alive, but even guys like Thomas Rhett make country music that (sure is a little bit pop in some areas) is still great country music

    Michael Hewitt

Saw him open for Alan Jackson the other night and thought he could be a headliner himself.

  26. Elliot Hackman

    This is true country

  27. Dave Lehman

    the next George Strait

    Sarah Morgan

    i completely agree

    Ben Painter

+Sarah Morgan that luke Bryan pop country.

  29. Kirkland Babin

  30. Phyllis Moss

He has it going on. Love his singing.

  31. amber parker

That's my boyfriend's nephew! He sounds really great and very talented!

  32. Kurti Rex

Saw him live already on one hell of a good show

  33. Micah Owens

This man's music is going to go big soon! We just need the right people to hear it.

  34. Justin Miller

This kid is gonna bring country back from its hip-hoppin B-boppin bullcrap lol.

    Janet Jones

+Justin Miller Boy I sure hope! I'm getting tired of that hip-hop, rap crap. He's got the real country sound.

    Janet Jones

I don't know why you thought you had to put your comment in caps, but it makes me feel like you're yelling at me.  :*(  Perhaps, my first comment wasn't specific enough for you. But it wasn't sent to you to begin with.  I find it humorous that you seem to think that in your 23 years of life, all the music there is to listen to was recorded just since you've been old enough to turn on the radio. Most people agree that the best country music came out in the 80's and 90's. If you haven't listened to country music from that time span, then you haven't listened to the country music I'm talking about.  For whatever it's worth, there are 2 radio stations here that play new country, which isn't really country, and include singers like, Eric Church, Lee Brice, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton and Florida Georgia Line just to name a few. If that's the country music you're listening to then, you go right ahead and listen to it. It's no skin off my nose either way what you listen to, just be happy!   I'll listen to classic/traditional country (George Strait, Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams, Jr, Alan Jackson, Vince Gil, Tracy Byrd and Marty Stuart just to name a few) or some newer singers like William Michael Morgan.

  35. Jake Jones

William. you music is just plain AMAZING. Your music stands out so much from all of this "new country" music, that is just plain terrible. but your prime country is amazing.

  36. Richard Parker

this guy is gonna be big just wait and see
