You're right that Beckett has a fantastic voice that doesn't need to be electronically edited, but it has been electronically edited anyway, whether it's auto-tuned or not. I think that was a big mistake; I want to hear Beckett's actual voice, not what a machine makes of him.

And you him live? What? I'll assume you mean you saw him live, and say that I have no doubt that he isn't capable of singing well without electronic editing. I'm not talking about the performance you saw - just this song.

If you don't like this song, try listen to his other solo stuff. The music on his full length he just released doesn't really sound like this. On his three EPs I think he was just messing around with different styles and stuff. Also his Pioneer Sessions album (which that other person mentioned) is all of the songs from his 3 EPs on one record, except its all stripped down and acoustic. No "auto-tune" or "filtering".

I hate to be that guy, but much as I love The Academy Is..., this sort of sucked. There's so much auto-tune you can hardly tell there's someone actually singing, and the lyrics are pretty dumb. Why must you do this to me, William? You're supposed to be awesome!
