Wild Nothing - Gemini Lyrics
You don't know, I've got nothing to say anymore
It's a shame I know, we're both perfectly in loathe
Lets not say you never give me anything
I don't care, I was what I was right there
Do I really need to tell you
I've got a palm I'm reaching for you
Do I really need to tell you
That I've got a twisted twin soul for you
I've got a palm I'm reaching for you
In your eyes, I've got nothing to see anymore
To convince me enough to compromise my heart
Let's not say its just a game again
Cause we both know we're both perfectly in loathe
Do I really need to tell you
That I've got a twisted twin soul for you
Do I really need to tell you
That I've got a twisted soul for you
I've got a palm I'm reaching for you

Wild Nothing Gemini Comments
This album will make me to remember in a future the moment when I was with my crush laying on bed (his house) and listening this album... he knew that this album is my favorite so, he put it, it happened in February-March of this year, that was amazing because at the same time he knew the band and specially this album...........
This is extremely cool
I discovered this album four years too late in a way. Nocturne was the first Wild Nothing album I found (and loved) during my sophomore year of high school, in 2012. I didn’t listen to Gemini (much, anyway- if it all) ‘till senior year, in 2015, during a furiously cold winter that I spent a lot of time at the Columbiana library during and that I’ll always remember. I’ve always felt that it would’ve been an album that would’ve affected me and my life at the time in an even more positive way had I first heard it around 2011 or so though. It’s so beautiful
I'm in the minority that loves this album more than Nocturne. Favorite album by Wild Nothing
1) Gemini
2) Nocturne
3) Golden Haze
Es Así como siento que se oye el amor
What's with the behelit face?
What a wonderful band.
I came here because of the film Gemini Man with Will Smith.
Ughhhh this beings me back to being 16 on summer vacation and in love
oh fuck i feel attacked by that transition from o lilac to bored games, holy shit
*She needs to trim her nose hair*
This album makes me feel like im in a beautiful hazy dream somewhere far away cozy with my loved ones
este disco en tardes de lluvia no puede mas!!! uuooooo
I have a thing with persons of gemini, almost everyone from this sign have treated me so badly and leaved me on my worst moments. Most of them also always promised me and never accomplished it. Besides all that, there's some few geminis (like two or three) that I love with all my heart: my friend, one of my favorite characters and now, this album.
In my early days of making great art (yes, it WAS great) I listened to an eclectic mix: Stravinsky, Eno, Reich, Kate Bush, Steely Dan, and others. As I move into hidden territory (where dreams and reveries meet layers of deconstructed grids) I am listening to Wild Nothing albums and David Hopkins.
Hearing this song wide awake from jetlag in a dark hostel in Delhi will always be with me.
For me it was Santigold back in 2012.

I was introduced to this by a very dear friend 💓 thank you Jayne 💓
This album is so amazingly entrancing!
One of my main inspirations to take a stab at making my own music.

Folks 👏.
Came on the recommendation of Kurtis Conner, not disappointed. Have this on heavy rotation now. One of those albums that sounds instantly nostalgic.
bahah! love that dude

thats really quite a terrible album cover
: I saw these guys at the free live gig @ Governor's Island in June of 2010, completely blind. I can honestly say that this is the only band I ever started following after I saw them live.
I get lost in it. It reminds me of my hitchhiking days. Ya I hitched Europe back in the 80'a
This album is essentially what inspired me to leave my hometown and to go to a big city.
This genre exists because of the 80s. This band is a conglomeration of the feelings of some of the best eclectic 80s music compressed into one spot. And it's also lame. It's like looking at frame after frame of different popular movies with no connecting theme.
Worthless really aside from a general haze of emotion. I find it hard to believe anyone would have any of their songs as an actual All-Time-Favorite song.
Reminds me somewhat of Cocteau Twins, which when I found them new was kind of the same feeling. I loved it, but it was never my favorite, it was just good for a mood.
In other words, this is like the "muzak" of genres. Good if you just want to make some money, not if you want to really be recognized for your music. I can't complain, I'm a musical hobbyist, and I'd settle for success in this realm, but I'd secretly wish for better.
Gemini = solitude, late night, sadness, lost my life doing nothing and a imaginary love
Indie never die!
I came from Kurtis
wow this is making me feel really positive and dreamy, i think this is my spring album
Their sound kind of reminds me of The Cure, but 10x more dreamy and nostalgic. This is the kind of music that makes your chest feel tight and your throat feel dry, like you're experiencing something tangible and also untouchable??? idk its THAT feeling, ya know?
this comment section makes me feel hopeful about the internet.
This is pure bliss. Thanks Jack.
are you dead like me?
35:26 [.
Confirmation me tiene loco de oirla desde hace dias
what genre is this? dreampop?
cadê os br com bom gosto?
Beautiful reminds me of my Bloody Valentine and Galaxy 500.
im gemini and i can say: this is good stuff
you can see her nose hair
( Indie Rock ) Debut Studio Album . 2.010 .”Their influences of the group are My Bloody Valentine , Cocteau Twins , Kate Bush , The Go-Betweens , Smiths or Echo & The Bunnymen in which they have a strong influence to the groups of Dreampop “ . ( Nocturne/2012 . Life of pause/2016 and Golden Haze -2010 EP- Empty Estate 2013 EP ).
me gusta este disco, me acompaña casi todas las tardes desde la semana pasada.
A mi igual, por las noches

I love the fade in to I’d rather live in Dreams
This makes me cry so hard.
it happens. thanks for sharing ;)
Heard this years ago but forgot to look up. Nice to find again.
How do you rank all the Wild Nothing LP's?
Luke Koebele Gemini>Nocturne>Golden Haze>Life of a Pause>Indigo even though most people prefer Nocturne over Gemini, I like this album's warm, dreamy , nostalgic feeling
And is it really that you didn't like Indigo or it's just that something had to be last?
Luke Koebele Wild Nothing tried too hard to fit the 80’s sound instead of sticking to dream pop, what Jack Tatum excels at. Each song from Indigo was boring imo. At least in LoP, the songs get catchier with every listen. Mentionable songs from Indigo are Letting Go(best one, Through Windows, Partners in Motion. The rest are meh.
It drifts from.super 80's to something more fluid and fresh.
I was surprised by this debut.totally AMAZING!!!
Bruh, why is no one in the comments talking about Gemini? It’s been my favorite from this album for a while now
Who else is here even after listening to Indigo? 😅
still his best album
Love love😍😍
Snowmines bought me here
Bored games ... in 2016 i listen this and dying after her going
GREAT BAND!!! 80'S RETRO ( CHAMELEONS, SOUND, CHURCH, ETC...)!!!
Love this music.. actually entire album. So nostalgic
distracted by nose hair
Everyone comparing this to The Cure. Sounds more like early New Order but for sure has The Cure, The Smiths and even Stone Roses in their sound. Kind of a mashup of my favorite 80's alternative bands.
I am grateful for this find right now. My goodness man.
What a gem it is 💎
<3 Alesssandra 7w7
Great album!
great drumming
Don't stare, but there's nose hair up there
O lilac is lovely - very evocative of some older tunes
Flawless band, flawless album <3
high school anthems
I'm on the good side of youtube again....chill vibes....
you speak in tongues I can’t resist
wooahhhhh.. literally nostalgic
Best getting over a break-up album ever
sounds like 80s music, and from 2010? why
Daniel Phillips I always thought of this album more of 80s and 90s to be honest.
I can't believe how good this is....just blows me away!
Que buena banda!!
It feels so good to relisten to this album after a while <3 So many memories, nostalgia and melancholy fills my heart everytime
30segs in and I'm loving it
The vocals are horrible.
HA! Good one! 😂
Tenacious V dream pop vocals usually aren’t bold. Doesn’t mean they’re horrible.
This album makes me feel so many positive emotions, mostly nostalgic. This is what summertime music sounds like 😩😩
It's my late fall/ winter album. Battles the depression well.
Love this album so much bruve thank you paul eberhardt mate for sharing ur a good geezer
