this song used to get me through subway rides when it first came out. i’m not sure why everyone thinks it’s underwhelming, the composition of the drums mixed with noises and the voice really gets me pumped

I'm sorry, but this album, along with Wilco (The Album) just didn't impress me.

I like Wilco. YHF is one of my all time favorites. I like AM, a Ghost is born, being there, etc... but the last couple albums, I can’t get into. This song, I don’t like. Sorry

This song gets me pumped

A lot of Wilco songs have both great studio versions and live like She's a jar which I just listened to. Love this song but live. I don't like the production, parts and movements of the studio version. Like the first song on Star Wars which I thought could have been longer and more adventurous. Do Sill like the tracks but like Jeff's live rage n Bono at times like this live.

Kenny Sommer Presents Sir Real Music E Mor A what!? This could be the height of their studio mastery up there with "Poor Places" and "Pieholden Suite". The live versions will never touch the studio versions.

This is a very interesting composition. It's definitely not that laid back, calm and relaxed sound that I love. It has elements of it, but this is a very different vibe. I enjoy it greatly, and I hope they pull this sort of sound more.

Wilco underwhelming? Well, I just don´t understand your point. How could be Albums like Being There, Summertheet, A Gost is Born, YAnkee Foxtrot HOtel, Sky Blue Sky, Wilco and The Whole Love, beeing booring or insatisfactory. Well, I guess that some people in the USA prefer bands that are so predictable like Dave Mattwes Band, Foo Figthers, anyway. American public could had a band like Radiohead and said that theri best work was Creep. Wilco is to good to be an american band.

they are highly capable of being glaringly generic, if that's what you're referring to. a lot of people merely want their preconceptions upheld. they're excellent for that...

this track, though, is legitimately different. what's upsetting is that the talent is there, they just don't use it. if they really *were* just another group of boring alt-country artists, their discography wouldn't be so frustrating....

90% borning? please, Wilco is the great american band nowadays. Wlico has many Albums considered some of the best of the 90´s and 2000´s. Love Wilco, what a great band.

@Haskel Campbell it's true.. I find wilco boring sometimes. So often they stick with indie tunes that are so uninspired. But they have many great tunes like humming bird, poor places, Jesus etc to name a few. This one too. Not that I am familiar with their entire discography but do have a bunch of boring stuff. Ofcourse 90% seems like a stretch😂
