OMG!!! I have been looking for this song for an hour because of the originals. And it was harder I thought. So it turns out the amazing song is by the same Song Author on my freaking playlist and it took me an HOUR TO FIND THIS SONG!!!! Well at least it is worth it lol.

(Nik)Klaus, a member of the family of the oldest vampires in the world (The Originals) who is also a hybrid (between vampire and werewolf), returns to New Orleans - the city he and his family helped to make great - because he thinks that New Orleans' witches want to kill him. There he learns that the witches just wanted to lure him back to New Orleans because the city is reigned by a tyrant- Marcel, the adoptive son of Klaus whom The Originals had believed to be dead for a century.
The witches want Klaus to do something against Marcel, and they have leverage. A werewolf girl who is pregnant of Klaus.
Klaus first doesn't believe that he is the child's father because vampires can't procreate, but some months before he has raised his werewolf side which had been suppressed by a curse for over 1000 years (this happens in the second season of The Vampire Diaries), and hybrids can procreate what no one knew.

This is roughly the plot of the first episode.

In a nutshell, TO is about a war between the witches, werewolves, and vampires of New Orleans with permanently changing alliances.
Imo, TO is a thrilling series which never gets boring.
