Who, The - Someone's Coming Lyrics
Goodnight baby,
Someone's a-comin', someone's a-comin',
Goodnight baby,
Gotta get a-runnin', gotta get a-runnin'.
Told you that you couldn't see me any more,
That's why we meet in secret,
That's why we're hiding here.
Goodnight baby,
Same time tomorrow, same time tomorrow,
Goodnight baby,
See you here tomorrow, see you here tomorrow.
Your mother made you stay in,
You'll say you'll take the dog out,
Then you sneak out here to me.
If your parents find you here,
You're gonna get a hiding, gonna get a hiding,
So I'll vanish, disappear,
See you here tomorrow, see you here tomorrow.

Radio London reminds you go to the mosque of your choice.
yet another example why The Who sits upon the pantheon of rock bands. Moon's drumming is incredible.
the most underrated band of all time in my honest opinion.
Yeah, bands that have consistently sold out 20,000 seat stadiums for 50 years tend to be underrated.
@Sludge no, go fuck yourself. The beatles are overrated, the Who is much much better than them, the Beatles were just a boy band and yet they receive every number 1 on any list, it doesn't make any sense. The who always had more talanted musicians than the Beatles, but they do not get the recognition they deserve.
@TTIG Ah, yes. The "I know nothing of what i'm talking about" mixed with some very superficial knowledge and the need to feel special. No, honey. No, in no way the were.
All of the B sides that I've heard by the Who could have been A sides. Incredible!
Terrific song, terrific album. Btw does anyone else enjoy the irony of a song which ends with a 5 second spoof commercial being introduced with a 5 second (real) commercial?
You *do* know the entire album is like that, right?
When I bought The Who Sell Out CD with the bonus tracks, I was thrilled to hear this clean, true stereo version of this song. The version on the US 'Magic Bus' album was this horrible fake stereo version. Just a mono recording with the high end on one side and the low end on the other.
LYRICS:
Goodnight baby,
Someone's a-comin', someone's a-comin'
Goodnight baby
Gotta get a-runnin', gotta get a-runnin'
Your father doesn't like me
Told you that you couldn't see me any more
That's why we meet in secret
That's why we're hiding here.
Goodnight baby
Same time tomorrow, same time tomorrow
Goodnight baby
See you here tomorrow, see you here tomorrow
Your mother made you stay in
When she saw you going out with me
You'll say you'll take the dog out
Then you sneak out here to me.
If your parents find you here
You're gonna get a-hidin', gonna get a-hidin'
So I'll vanish, disappear
See you here tomorrow, see you here tomorrow.

Power pop....
Cool song. I thought this was on the "Magic Bus" album though. This also sounds slighty different then what I remember. Great song nonetheless.
Love John Entwhistle's horn work!
