Who, The - One Life's Enough Lyrics

There's a scene
Indelible, it hangs before my eyes
In our teens, incredibly
Together with no ties.

That was a life enough for me
One life's enough for me.

Throw back your heard
Let yout body curve
Into the long grass of the bed
Pull me down into your hair
And I'll push and swerve
As we both gasp in the evening air
Yeah --

Throw back your head
Ley your body curve
into the long grass of the bed
Pull me down into your hair
And I'll push and swerve
As we both gasp in the evening air

  7. Helen Bryant

This is so achingly beautiful. It makes me cry. It also gives me some beautiful images and feelings. Roger's voice is so pure here. Bliss.

As a dedicated Who Fan Face Dances and It's Hard with Kenny Jones are incredibly viable because of Pete's lyrical genius and musical arrangements . The Who Is the only band to kick ass and stand the test of time !

Pete just gave praise to Roger's performance on this song (at their interview regarding their pending 2012- 2013 N. American tour). I loved this song from the start. Great performance.

My only wish for this song would be a revision on the lyrics, to accentuate the strong parts and to give its storyline more strength and consistency.

Even as-is, this song is a lost gem.
