yes, this tune particularly displays how the who seemed to be the perfect vehicle for moon's style-- he refused to keep to the groove all the time like Townsend attempted to get him to do. lyrically, there are probably many that would accuse it of negativity, however, I'm glad to see there's some here who think it's just realistic

I heard this song on an episode of WKRP In Cincinnati. It was a Veterans Day episode called "The Airplane Show" where Les Nessman and his fellow army veteran friend are flying a military airplane. Hearing this song makes me want to go out and take a flight on a Red Baron airplane in the sky. Love it!!!

This song is on a different level IMO, particular the melody and instrumental from 2:32 - 3:35.

This song, along with 905, was supposed to be a part of John's own rock opera, similar to Pete's Lifehouse. Had Enough and 905 are the only songs that were taken off the shelves for Who Are You. The rest of the songs are still nowhere to be found.

In 1970 The Who were the third biggest band in the World. Pete Townsend is one of the greatest songwriters of the, 60's and 70's he writes his own songs and they all have meaning. I Can't Explain. Pictures of Lily, I Can See For Miles are some of my favourites. But in 1971 Who's Next was one of my top 10 albums ever Baba Oh Riley, Behind Blue Eyes, and Won't Get Fooled Again are some of the greatest songs ever.

Townsend is such a genius...Not that the rest of the band isn't but; he wrote nearly every who song...Keith's last album...RIP; ox and mooney...

I love that picture of this album. Two guys who know how to use all of that electric stuff behind them to make such great music, second to nobody else, one guy who knows how to be the best drummer in the world and Roger who like Peter knows how to be a good SHOWMAN, and Roger can really sing no matter how fast or slow the tempo, Roger is as good as they come!

Ironic that the photographer had Keith sit in the chair to hide his paunch and that is why the message on the chair made the cover.

I remember upon release in '78 I thought "Damn they're getting old!" Loved the album for it's raw energy & new reach. I had the 8-Track for the car & the vinyl for the home.
