The world strips us of our value, but God reminds us of the value He sees and gives us ❤️

Some people believe in an afterlife and some don’t, right?
Also, some people believe there’s a heaven and a hell but there are many belief
systems in place on how to get there. Everyone is entitled to their own believes
and opinions and I respect each person who is reading this. With that said, I
have a story to share about Whitney’s death. I know of someone who saw Whitney Houston
in heaven. This woman’s name is Kat Kerr. She had the most beautiful account of
what she observed in heaven a week or so after Whitney died. She said she was
in a room and God presented Whitney with a beautiful treasure chest. The chest
was opened and music began to flow out of it. But the music was visible! She
said that in heaven you can see music, not just hear it. (Ironically enough
there are a few people on earth that can physically see music and they say it
looks like beautiful colors swirling around. The condition is called synesthesia.
Well in heaven everyone has this ability!) She said that this song wound out of the treasure chest,
swirled around Whitney and formed a beautiful garment for her to wear. God told
Whitney that this was his own song that he had made and no one else in heaven
had ever heard it – AND he wanted her to have it as a present! Apparently God
really loves to give special gifts to his sons and daughters! Kat Kerr is a
very strong Bible believing Christian and was confused as to how Whitney Houston
was even in heaven due to her lifestyle choices and how her choices contradicted
what is taught on how to go to heaven. As soon as she had that thought it was
revealed to her that, “Whitney sang her salvation.” Kat did not understand what
that meant at the time but she later learned that Whitney was in a night club
the evening that she died. Everyone was asking her to sing, but she said she
was not feeling well, was not in the mood and didn’t want to. But the people
kept asking. Then she agreed to sing, but she said she would sing one song
only. The song she chose to sing was, “Jesus Loves Me.” As she sang she poured
her heart out to God and reclaimed her salvation. In that moment she was
forgiven and redeemed by Jesus. The next morning she was found dead in the bath
tub; cause of death was heart disease and cocaine usage. I was not sure that I
could believe this story or not, as many people have said they have seen celebrities
in both heaven and hell and how would anyone ever know. Like, they could be
making it up to fit their own agendas or be completely delusional. For reasons
of my own I do believe there is a God because He has made Himself known to me
in provable ways that I simply cannot argue with or explain away. (Can I get an
Amen? : ) So I decided to just go ahead and send up a prayer to ask Him if this
woman, Ket’s story could be trusted.



About an hour later I got a phone call from my mother. She
face-timed me to ask if she could come over and help my son practice his guitar
lesson. He just started learning the guitar last month and my mother has a
musical background so she likes to come and help him review his music
assignments. She said today she wanted to do something different though. There
was a song she wanted to teach him, but since the music was not in his workbook
she took it upon herself to sit down and write the music for him. I said yes of
course she could teach him a song.” Then I said, “Speaking of music, I heard an
interesting story about Whitney Houston and want to know your thoughts on it.”
I recounted the story that Kat Kerr shared and my mother’s jaw dropped.



She said, “You will not believe this! She reached into her
back pocket and pulled out a piece of paper. I could see music notes written in
her hand writing as she began unfolding the paper. When it was completely
unfolded I could see the song title written at the top. What song do you think
it was? “Jesus Loves Me.” So, the same day I heard this story of Whitney Houston
making it to heaven specifically because she SANG HER SALVATION by singing the
song “Jesus Loves Me” was the same day my mother sat down and penned the notes
of this song for my 7 year old son to learn to play on his guitar. And this was
made known to me AFTER I prayed and asked God to give me some kind of sign to
let me know if the story was true. I should mention this is not a song that is
popular in our family and I have not heard my mother speak of it since I was a
small child myself. I know that this was God answering my prayer and to give me
confirmation in knowing that what this woman, Kat, saw is true. Whitney is
finally home in heaven, being treated like a precious, loved, beautiful,
redeemed daughter of the King, and because Jesus loves me, and I ask for him to
forgive and redeem me, I know someday I will be too!



Side note: I have gone on to learn more about Kat Kerr, her experiences
and how we can trust that God is real, the bible is true and that our choices
and prayers make a HUGE difference in this life as well as in the next. He is calling
many people to give a strong testimony for His existence and His love for us. I
can’t help but share this information. I hope it will help you in your life the
