I already have made plans that this song will be played at the very end of my funeral. It works beautifully like I am speaking to my loved ones wishing them the best and that we will meet again one day.

Love this one!

Just returned from my lovely sister Sue's cremation service, this was the track she chose in a chance conversation with her grieving partner a few months ago before her sudden and unexpected death a few weeks ago.......this was the track we played as we left the service... ................I miss you Sue so very very much and what your partner is feeling right now is so painful I can't even imagine.

I am so sorry for your loss. I too have made it public knowledge i would want this song played at the end of my service.
As well, during the service I want a photo/video montage to Fare Thee Well also by Whitesnake. Funny thing is I am not a huge Whitesnake fan, but they are the music of my death for some reason.

From the years that Coverdale still used his lovely bluesy voice, not the silly highpitched one from his terrible L.A. days... I was pleased to hear in an interview of the two Wilson sisters (Heart) that they too looked with very mixed feelings to say the least back at their "hair"-years. It brought them cash for sure, but they felt quite silly in those outfits and terrible videoclips. Coverdale however got stuck in that mud. But it is always nice to hear him talk, at least THAT reminds us of his really unique vocals from his Deep Purple and early Whitesnake years.

​@BigDog12345 X XL The Great Well, not necessarily a cover version, but yeah, the melody seems to be somewhat similar; Nimph Duffy was saying this song ("We Wish You Well") reminded him of another song, and I was trying to think of other similar-sounding songs he could've been thinking of- "Cool Change" has that same sort of piano riff and those harmonies, not to mention it's in the same key, so I threw it out there...
