BLESS. I've been listening to their same songs for a while now, even when it was just a few releases before the EP, but I'm glad to see how much they've grown. They're still such an underappreciated band, but when the light hits 'em and the fanbase explodes, I couldn't be more proud honestly.

Derk Ender I feel like they are trying to put hardcore first and mix it with everything else. In some aspects it's post-hardcore,but in others it's metalcore(structures of some songs,breakdowns). But i do feel like in the lack of anything closer i would call them either hardcore or post-hardcore. Just my oppinion,i would love to hear what others think.

The new album is definitely a bit more toned down, but the songwriting is still solid. Think of Bullets and Octane going from "In the Mouth of the Young" to "Songs for the Underdog". I don't think it outshines the EP, but I enjoyed it.

[Quick rant warning]
What’s cool is with AM/PM is there were some super intense songs like Innocent Until Birth and Rated R (though it wasn’t as crazy as Comsopolitician) but there were also super melodic catchy choruses with Bite Marks and Picture Day.
There was also I Lost My Mind In California, which was almost an alternative/pop-punk song.
Then Sunspots, 24 Hour Revenge therapy and other songs felt sort of grungey. And Montreal IS SO EMOTIONAL AAAHH
