Yesterday, May 16, 2019, Plaza Condesa CDMX, I had the pleasure of listening to this song live, my tears came out because she was my partner in a difficult time in my life and suddenly memories overwhelmed me. I love you too boys, what a great show yesterday.

The fact that these are the ones that created this masterpiece puts this far above and beyond what the Mumford cover could ever do.

I feel lucky to be able to listen to this piece of art.

Do people know this is a reference to the words of Jesus? After his resurrection he told the women not to touch him, he had unfinished business. What this means I'm not sure, but I assume that's where the reference in this song comes from.

I hate people for liking covers over their original versions. Like your cover wouldn’t exist without the original version. This is coming from a person that enjoys covers. “Well my band did it better” Go put a barrel in your mouth and cover the wall with your dead ass brain. Keep your “opinion” in your head and just enjoy whatever version it is.

A couple of days ago I listened to this after hearing the Mumford & Sons version and I remember thinking, “Mumford’s cover is way better.” But I kept coming back to this version for some reason. Then I decided to check out their album...and now I can’t stop listening to these guys! How have I never heard about this band before?

Coming from a completely personal standpoint, I much prefer the Mumford & Sons version. It's fast-paced, aggressive, and filled with emotion. Don't get me wrong, this version is awesome, too, but it's just too slow for me. Being in a punk rock band really caused me to pay more attention to the faster, more aggressive tones that M&S songs generally have, and considering the fact that M&S was the first/main band I learned to play guitar along to, I obviously have some bias for them, but I do acknowledge that this version was first and I respect it, I just happen to like the M&S version better. Like they say, "different strokes for different folks".

I have a few songs that never get old, and this is definitely one of them. I feel the same every time I listen to it. I don’t know how.

I like the sound of the Mumford and Sons version better, but I like the Pacing of this one much better. The cover sounds like its missing an extra verse in the middle, while this one sounds more complete.

I wish people would stop hating on those who like the Mumford and sons cover better because it's just a matter of preference. I personally can't get into this genre of music, so I'm really grateful there's a version in a genre I love dearly (folk). Otherwise, I would've skipped by this beautiful song because I don't like the style.

+LostNeKoNya two theories i heard that seem right to me.
1. she just killed the man and he comes back as a ghost and doesnt grasp it right away and see's her sad and crying and accepts death and he still loves her and wants her to move on.
2. After her loved ones death she tries to kill herself because she felt she was the death of the male. the male comes back from heaven to try and get her to stop and make her happy and tells her he will wait for her.
