White, Bryan - Call Me Crazy Lyrics

You told me all I would need was a little time
But getting over you is still such an uphill climb
I know I ought to be living in the present tense
But the past I had with you was the last time my life made sense

Call me crazy, for hurting this way
Call me crazy, go on and say
It's a phase I'm going through
Call me crazy, crazy over you

I know you don't really mean to be so unkind
But pardon me if I'm not in the right frame of mind
To go on hearing how I should start all over again
Face the future without you, I wouldn't know how to begin

Call me crazy, for hurting this way
Call me crazy, go on and say
It's a phase I'm going through
Call me crazy

You say, I'm lost in a fantasy
But what we had was real to me
Call me crazy

Go on and say
It's a phase I'm going through
Call me crazy, crazy over you, you
Call me crazy

Is this not a re release? I think it was on a previous album.

    e.... w....

Yes it was previously recorded. This is a slower more mellow version with only Bryan.

This is incredible... Brings me right back to 1998 when I was at work sweeping floors listening to the album version of this on my discman. Its funny to me this song meant something totally different, "Call me crazy" I rem it was listening to it, and here I am sweeping and it in that moment hit me. I wanted to move to Nashville! I ran to the phone called my parents and said, Mom! "call me crazy" but Im moving to Nashville, and Im gonna do it in two weeks. I don't know what it was about this song but it completely shifted the state my mind was in from feeling bummed out about hating my job, to having this new found hope and energy to Move to Nashville. And yes I know God had a lot to do with it as well.
Thank you Bryan! Thank you for bringing me to Nashville!
