Wet Wet Wet are livelong friends (bar a fall out over money in for short period) and grow up together. They got together when they were 17 years old when Marti encouraged them to start a band as they knew each other from school and they call could play and sing! Their mum's were also friends and the death of Marti's mum ended their agrument when they all came to her funeral. They were not manufactured, they wrote and sang all their own material, unlike alot of the groups today. I won't disrespectful to groups of today because I enjoy some of the music. But all generations have music which defines their era and Wet Wet Wet, Simply Red etc were part of the 80s. As for this song, it was for charity so insults are not needed. My mum is a Beatles fan, but me, I like their music, but I cannot see what was so special about them. Yes, they changed the way music was seen and inspired generations after them and since inspiring along with Wet Wet Wet etc!
