@ Tessa Fox and Mel112824. Matthew West wrote this song for his wife. How you apply it in your life and who you attribute it to is completely in your jurisdiction and up to you. But as for Matthew West he personally said at a concert he wrote it for his wife. He of course thanks God for putting her in his life. but it's intent was a love song and promise to his wife.

A lot of people interpret it that way, and I can see it. I think there are multiple ways you can apply this song to someone, whether it be a religious figure, a family member, or a significant other. Personally, I think of that special person, but that's just me.

Praise God! Truly, Jesus is strong when we are weak, when we're at our lowest and don't see how we can hold on any longer. He is truly an awesome God and He truly is mighty to deliver us out of all our fears, etc. There is no way to tell just how amazing He is, but but for now and for eternity we can try to say it as best as we can.
P.S.: I sooooo love Matthew West's songs . . . for me, it's a toss-up between "More" and "Only Grace" as to which is my fav.

If I had one wish I would wish to see Matthew West in person just Face to Face I love him his songs basically turned my whole life around if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be hear right now he is my walking miracle. Its like his songs have so much emotion and passion in the words it just changed my life. I wasn't saved before I heard Strong Enough by him then I went to the church confessed all my sins and now I know that I'm going to have eternal life because I live for the only true living God.

i love how he wrote this played it and while he wasnt known very well.. rascal flats wanted to cover it... i like both versions... i say MW did well for this being on an independent album

@blakecampbell1998 Go to amazon, and look up the song, there will be something called premiere performance plus, I think there are ones in different keys also. But it is just the music, so you will have to memorize the lyrics or print them out. That way it's better than singing it from a screen or whatever. Good luck!

This was my wedding song, but we used the acoustic version, and I love it better than this version, because it's a little softer. It sucks I can't find that version on here. This is where I found it before.

@blakecampbell1998 Agreed, if you're looking for it on Youtube, search under Rascal Flatts since their version of this song is more well-known; Someone is more likely to put it under Rascal Flatts rather than Matthew West. If you can't find it on here, I suggest searching on Youtube/Google instructions on how to make an instrumental. I know there are programs out there, and I've tried using one of them once when I wanted to do a cover of a song, but I couldn't get it to work for me. Good luck!
