There almost identical. The movie version is a hair faster and has two males voices. That is literally the only difference.

Just beautiful!  The dark humor of the movie version is replaced with soulful reverie!  "I'm Glory Bound!  ...I'll see y'all there, and we can sang together and laugh about all the meanness in the used-ta-be"

Great songwriting, I think Willie's version is even better.... will be the only bit of the Oscar's worth watching!

A fantastic song, beautifully done here. I agree that it's best delivered with Willie Watson's unique and emotive quaver. If Willie's singing lead on Sunday, it'll be a Yippee-ki-yi-yay Oscars for sure!
