This would play well before or after Summer Elaine and Drunk Dory; amazing how there are so many B-sides/unreleased that would fit into the album; could have been a double album IMHO.

I really want to know what the inspiration was for the piano part. I think it sounds like Joe Hisaishi's music for Miyazaki films.

1:07 What is being said in the right channel? I think it's French "Chantez mademoiselle" which translates to "sing mademoiselle" with "sing" being in the imperative mood as in "please sing a song".
But I don't know I can't really work out the first word, but I'm certain the second is mademoiselle.

It's "enchante madmoiselle" typically used to say "delighted to meet you miss"

I think that the verses are the catchiest part of this song by far. The melody reminds me of YAZ's "Only You" mixed with Elvis Costello's "Veronica"

This should have been on the album instead of 'Do you wanna get high?'. Prime Weezer, unquestionably. Love that ascending guitar line in the pre-chorus.

Do You Wanna Get High is a prime track on the album, and probably the closest to Pinkerton. If any song should have been replaced, it's Jacked Up.
Just my opinion.

Really good tune! Yes leagues better then Thank God For Girls and this is a superior track. Most fans don't like Thank God For Girls simply because its middle of the road Ratitude style weezer while this cool tune is a return to the essence of what made Weez special.
