One of the most important groups for me. Got me through some really hard times, and never gets old.

What a sweet recording. Drums are dialed in beautifully (that snare!), and the vocal mix on the choruses and bridge is subtle and gorgeous. And that bass player, OMG. The whole thing's just ear candy. I know nothing about this band, but man... someone really knew what they were doing.

I heard this a few years back in my Old Navy store and made a point to look up the lyrics when I got home. As you can tell, I made a good decision.

This song loses alot of its cuteness when you hear it at your job constantly. Then again it is calming asf while I'm trying to pretend to work so I'll let it slide

+Just Jeanne They actually chose their name to be like a genre of old-style movies that often made people cry, they were called weepies. Deb and Steve chose the name to be the band that gave people...i guess you could call it a much needed tear. If you wanted to cry, listen to the weepies, that was their intent.

Steven is right, but I actually think the name makes sense because both happiness and sadness can make a person cry, and the Weepies' catalog contains both very happy songs and sad ones.

I hear thing song all the time at my work. Makes me wanna blow my fucking brains out. There is no lyrical variance anywhere in this shit. This song is truly fucking retarded. Excellent job on creating music equivalent to a truck driver taking a massive, exploding, nuclear shit.

I always find this song more melancholy than its lyrics suggest. I guess the tone reminds me of too many '00-era songs used in indie films with overcast landscapes.
