I physically can't stop myself from singing along to this song when I hear it, so goddamn catchy and ridiculous at the same time. It's a warped Vegas lounge-singer version of The Doors. The vibe of the song, and the little scattered half-hearted applause, sounds like it's being performed in some seedy, cut-rate Vegas showroom at like 2 AM. Love it.

Ol' Baldy lol interesting that he had a similar take on it, I sometimes disagree with his judgements on music, but I'm with him on this one. I always loved the song, but could never quite place what exactly it reminded me of, and a buddy of mine mentioned that he's singing like Jim Morrison, then it clicked. It even has a similar chord progression to the solo section of the song Light My Fire, that swinging, back-and-forth two-chord change.
