Definitely on the Floyd. Ween were masters of musical parody. Even their funniest songs (lyrics and sounds) say some pretty important things. I get tired of people who either call them a "joke" or a "serious" band. They are both at the same time. Some serious messages can be delivered through humor. Just ask Primus, John Spencer, even Ani DiFranco and Nirvana. Alternative rock was all about satirizing sexist, homophobe, racist assholes.

@vic is that not what those bands did and do? Shes not really wrong at all. Just because someone is against racism sexism etc doesnt mean they are liberal btw , also most "alt rock" does lean to the left a lil...Dean himself said he prefers " leftist progressive areas"
