I cover this song on guitar a lot as well as a lot of ween. This is one of my favs on one of my least fav albums by them. Why wolfman wasnt included included on this album I will never understand. Anyway, cant wait for the Halloween run got tickets for the last two nights , Halloween and the 1st.

When La Cucaracha was released i mistakenly decided the album was shit, fodder, just some mediocre effort hastily thrown together.
Now I dunno - it may have been done hastily but i was foolish in my rush to judgement. This album is up there with the best of the latter day Ween. Maybe better than Quebec. I personally prefer the early stuff and the later. The middle is hit or miss imo

Agreed. I think they were going through a lot of shit at the time. I believe Aaron was going serious crap as well. I think he was trying to get clean and Mickey who was able to hold his alcohol wasn't.

To me this song is about a male on female stocker. The first verse is staing his obsession with her. The second verse is about his desire/plan to kill her. The third verse is his desire/plan to kidnap and rape her. The fourth verse is him going through with his plans of kidnap, rape and murder. The final verse is him satisfied with his actions. The part about the sweater is him happy that the only piece of evidence left at the scene is a piece if clothing. Just my interpretaion tho.

Hence the last verse especially "But I've got my pride and my time isn't free you're just an object to me" This is my own perception of the song. Take it with a grain of salt.

We don't really know unless we've heard Gener or Deaner say anythingabout what the song is about. Which they sometimes give little anecdotes and background info about songs before they perform them(i'm sure we've heard that Gener wrote The Blarney Stone after hanging with his Irish friend for a day, or that Dont Sweat It and most stuff from The Pod was written after/during huge shroom and drug trips...) Anyway I've never heard any explanations about this song from either of them so it's honestly up to each individual's interpretation for the forseeable future, unless they perform this and say something about it, which could happen. The only thing I really know about this album is that they were fighting a lot during making it.
