I both love and hate this cover. I love it because it exposes more people to hamilton. I hate it because it takes all emotion and purpose and meaning and love and care and passion, and emotion from the original. Also can i just say how much i hate how they turned a story about the likleyhood of death, the hope for your legacy and cause to live on, INTO FUCKING TEANS ENJOING THERE FREEDOM OF SUMMER

So like, I don't get why or how people don't like this. Many are saying in the cover the genuine feeling of the original song is lost, which I can see where you're coming from. But the thing is they didn't try to copy it, they put their own spin on in, which I find to be my favorite factor. I personally don't like many covers where people try to just repeat the original. I find it so much cooler to see people put their own twist into a song. For examples, I've seen many covers of this song and honestly this one is probably my favorite because it isn't attempting to be a carbon copy. If you only want something exactly like the original then I would just stick to the original cause if you have the mind set of something to be exactly like the original song then no matter what you'll find a problem with every cover and in the end will never be satisfied with others work.

Fuck you. No really, fuck you. You've taken one of my favorite song from hamilton and ruined it. You turned an awesome classical themed song into a shitty rock song. And i am aware a lot people love rock, but fuck, you stretched a 1:30 song to 3:40. Because of this, after you finish the original lyrics, you repeat "lets have another round tonight" over and over. Witch gets so annoying, it's insane. Fuck you can even hear the auto-tune in your voices. So fuck you.
