I, too, am a sucker for high-pitched vocals. My favorite types of bands in the post-hardcore/metalcore scene. Such as: picturesque, too close to touch, of machines. I'd recommend those bands for you. Especially picturesque.

Both excellent bands. DGD is my jam. They remind me of Eidola. The singer from that band has some crazy vocals.

DGD are my favourite. Insane vocals and guitar. Have you heard Tilian's solo stuff? Some of it is great. I've got Eidola's new album but I haven't gotten into it properly yet. If you haven't heard of them, you'd probably like Hail the Sun &/or Sianvar.

Tillian's solo stuff is nice. I haven't listened to a lot of it, but it doesn't seem too bad. Sianvar is amazing. Hail the sun never really caught my eye, but their new EP looks promising. I've had "I the Mighty"'s album on rotation lately. That release wasn't just amazing.

Edit: Kyle your voice was the sole reason I got hooked back in 2009... when I first heard "To Plant A Seed". Now your gone... I wish I could've went back and time and somehow told you... I will forever come as a roman.. it's because of you. The rest of the band is great too but your voice touches my heart strings and makes tear jerkers...



All of their songs are good on this album. Their songs have always been good. Yeah some of them might not fit every persons taste (same goes for me) but their lyrics and the things they sing about is what truly matters. Not if the song is heavy, or not heavy enough ( i prefer heavyyyyy) or if it sounds to electronic, or not enough blah blah. Take a second and listen to the words and compare it to your life... Then you will see why many people like myself enjoy their content (music) that they produce. Once you listen to a song for the lyrics, the song will grow on you. Trust me.
