I profess to dislike country western music but I have to say, there seems to be a few exceptions to most rules. This is one and if you aren't careful you'll find yourself liking it too, along with finding a lump in your throat and maybe a bit of tearing up of your eyes...
First time I heard it was on Glenn Beck's radio show. Aaron was being interviewed and he told us about Julie and how they discovered that she had a fatal defect and would only live for a few hours at best after being born and all the "doctors" (who take an oath to do no harm, don't they?) urged his wife and him to have her aborted. But being a real Christian, Aaron knew that would be murder, regardless of the laws of man. God's laws come first. Man's laws a distant second.

I lost my aunt a few years ago to cancer. I listen to this song everyday now that I have found it. The song speaks the truth, we blink and things have already passed by us. What I'd give to see my aunt again.

This song is so great! I loved it when you first released it, Then this past March my wife had a miscarriage at 16 weeks pregnant and this song means so much more to me now. This song hits me right to the core.. in 2005, I lost my dad, then I was blessed to give birth to my 1st born baby girl.. and with in the blink of an eye (6 wks and 6 days later) on Christmas Eve, my angel grew her wings.
