Of course, we know if this was a PF album it would have sold in the mIllion. Probably the best album Rogers ever has written. Amazing idea. Amazin lyrics together with a beautiful melody. Truthfully, the rest, barring Syd and Rick were and are session musicians: David Gilmour a truly sublime one. McCartney couldn't write like this in his younger days and certainly not now, neither can Dylan. Roger can because he has a life story. He has something to write about other than Elanor Rigby; which has aged terribly. Rogers work does not age: it's always relevant. He will go down in history when we'll all go as a genius in music - up there with the best of his century. it can be gainsaid, but whoever does knows nothing about lyrics, melody and the politics in the lyric
