Waters, Roger - 4.30 AM (Apparently They Were Travelling Abroad) Lyrics

Apparently they were travelling abroad
And they picked up some hitchhikers...drill
Wake up you're dreaming...what...you're dreading
We were moving away from the border
Uh what border? Have a nice day...uh...have a nice day

We were moving away from the border
Looking for somewhere to sleep
The two of us sharing the driving
Two hitchhikers slumped in the back seat
Hello
I sneaked a quick look in the mirror
She gave me a smile
I said "Is anyone hungry?
Should we stop for a while?"
So we pulled off into a layby
Her dress blew up over her head
I said "Would you like to come with me?"
She said something foreign under her breah

And the sun shone down on her lovely young limbs
I thought to myself she's too good for him
I lay down besider her with tears in my eyes
She said

Stephanie Ross it’s hard to quantify just how amazing this record is. I remember buying it the week it was released, and then I went to see him on tour. Unbelievable memories.......

My favourite album ever!! Thank you - yours seems to play louder and clearer than others out there on my shite little tablet.

+stephen burridge thank you! This is a personal favorite of mine too cause of how well the songs flow into each other, and all the subtle moments. Part of why I upload on this channel is because most of the time, either the only copy of songs or albums on youtube is from 7 years ago, 240p and probably whatever super crappy lossy file was available at the time. probably 192, or 256 kbps.. I always upload in the highest quality I can find (usually 320kbps at stereo or joint stereo channels, and then I edit the equalizing myself using imovie 11's graphic equalizer.)

+stephen burridge There is a very cool T-Shirt of this on Ebay RIGHT NOW.

Not many people realize Eric Clapton plays the lead guitar on this LP.

That's what makes it impeccable, his guitar sings on this.. Amazing
