No need to be sorry, although Mike is most definitely Scottish, the album is largely influenced by his travels around Ireland and has a large number of traditional Irish session musicians on it, along with the poem from WB Yeats (Stolen Child).

Might be my favorite song by The Waterboys, if such a song could possibly exist...There might be too many from which to choose.

I totally agree - one of my most favorite albums and it takes me back when love was fresh in my life, my late husband & I were newly in love - it ws a wonderful time! and yes, I cried when he 'went away'!
