Waterboys, The - Come Live With Me Lyrics

Come live with me and be my love
Share my bread and wine
Be a part of me, the heart of me
Be mine

Come live with me and be my love
Let our dreams combine
Be wife to me, be life to me
Be mine

With these hands I will build a roof
To shield your head
And with these hands I will carve the wood
For our baby's bed

Come live with me and be my love
And let me love you all the time
Be mate to me, be fate to me
Be mine

I will try to do my best for you
I swear, I promise you
I will cry for you, I will comfort you
My whole life through

Come live with me and be my love
Share my bread and wine
Be a part of me, be the heart of me
Be mine

He could have sang the phone book to me and I would have said "YES!" This song is absolutely gorgeous - and another one that makes me cry.

OK, I figured it out. Why"The Waterboys"? Water is necessary to sustain life, as are The Waterboys.

Good upload Erwin. I went to see them last night in York and I reckon this was my favourite. I thought I was melting when the sax kicked in. The rest of the show was gorgeous and to see everyone on their feet for Fisherman's Blues will be an everlasting memory. Great human warmth, people just wanting to be good to each other. I think the Boys went off on a strange journey for a few years with their 'big' music but this tour is the real stuff for me.
