Rock and roll hall of fame is about as relevant as the music charts. Warren didn't fare too awful well on them either. So many bums are in the hall and so many great artists are not. It's a damn shame somebody doesn't come along and compete with these bastards and call in THE REAL ROCK AND ROLL HALL.

I agree. I don't understand their thinking. Am reading the "The Lives of Warren Zevon." Such a talent. Troubled. Wild. Weird. But so connected to the LA sound of the 70s, 80s, 90s.

Linda Ronstadt's covers of his songs was my gateway to Zevon's music as a teen.

Was listening to this the other day and my 4 year old grandson just stopped playing, sat down and listened to it. He never said a word and I thought he understood it. I cried because I don't want him to ever learn that this is the song I listen to at night when I can't sleep.
