Boy Everytime I hear Warrent I No My Band wasnt Great, WARRENT Was Great & The World suffered a great loss when Jani Lane basically Killed Himself..He literally came up with Cherry Pie in 1 nite because the record company was complaining that it was 90s & They didt have A "Love in an Elevator" on the CD which then skyrocketed into Cherry Pie eating contest, cherry pie this & cherry pie that..Jani didt like it But certainly was a giant wave of greatness that was added to the already Great Jani Lane & Warrent..You are sorely missed, I hope you rest in piece compared to the no piece life you gave Urself, Jani Lane, 1 of the greatest song writing singers of any time🎸

I just learned Jani had a new album about 2008. I was so grateful for his contributions, and loved Stronger Now, from Ultraphobic. Also- The Bitter Pill, All My Bridges Are Burnin', Quicksand, and Lincolns, Mercurys, and Fords from '92 (Dog Eat Dog). Always remember you, Jani!

I was lucky enough to see these guys on New years eve . The band put on a great show in a really small club in my town.

Girls were so much hotter back then, natural beauty, not like today’s plastic, fake eyelashes and everything else!!!

For all u youngsters those weird looking things they have up to their ear are telephones and towards the end that was a pay phone used to be at every gas station, store corner etc!!!

I met Joey Cagle back in the day when he was in Tarrga with John Nicolary. I know that Joey was sitting on the tower (shown in the movie) at the KISS concert at Magic Mountain.

When this song came out my military husband was stationed in Honduras. Before cell phones were a thing, people actually wrote letters to each other. 😂. I saved them and so did he. ♥️ Recently I unpacked an old box that’s seen more of the world than most people have and in it were all the letters we wrote to each other. In one of them, I mention this song. I spent a lot of nights crying during the first 3 years of our marriage apart. We spent 23 years together and even though we aren’t married anymore, he’s coming over in a couple weeks to tackle my honey-do list. Some habits are hard to break 😂🤪. I never realized Mercy was a single mother. That adds a whole lot more to the song. Jani was one the best songwriters of all time!!! Warrant was the best of the "hair metal" bands, mainly because Jani wrote outside the box. Just listen to his chord progressions. He was truly unique for the time.

Definitely a different mix than the version on the record. On the album version, the ending goes from A major to C major and fades out on a guitar solo. The video version stays on A major and fades out on a repeat of the chorus. I wonder why they made 2 different audio tracks?
