Say what you want about robert mason, but he's getting it done!!. Ive heard a few other bands with new singers, such as quiet riot, and great white. Quiet Riot needs new material to make their lead singer sound good, while Great White's Mitch malloy is not cut out for hard rock. Ive heard Mitch's solo stuff and he sounds great.

trust me, I love the orig Warrant lineup, but that's not possible anymore....and I love Rob Mason...if you wanna hear him at his best - listen to Lynch Mob's 2nd album - self titled Lynch Mob - this sounds a lot like it. Dude brings it. Long Live Jani.

But the vocalist is dead for me i like so much this álbum and sound.

Hey guys I am the official cherry pie guy other than Jani Lane. I know they hate hearing this as much as I hate saying it. I'm Not excited man. Its like when you hit a movie on Netflix and in the first few minutes you know....hey...this shit;s wasting my time. Better yet you go to a movie and it doesn't grab you right from the start. I love Warrant. They're great musicians but I'm stoked that after so many attempts it seems they still haven't gotten it right. Was Warrant REALLY that good because of Jani Lane's songwriting skills in those days? Answer: At this point in time YES. This is blow-over music again or whatever it's trying to be. I'm not gonna say throw in the towel, but, damn I'm confused. Does the singer want to emulate Jan Lane or write his own stuff? Yeah he's a good singer. I like him personally, but NOBODY MY FRIENDS< OUT THERE ARE FUCKIN JANI LANE!! PERIOD. I'm buzzed over and out.

I'm just talking at 0:32 through the chorus, the effect they use on his vocals sounds very Queensryche-ish. Not in general. I like roberts voice.

Kenneth Kline I hear what you’re saying, when he sings “amusement” , his open throat and annunciation does sound like Geoff, but just on that small part.

Excuse me but this sound nothing like Warrant, no hooks, too forced,...I know they want to do a crossover between Cherry Pie and Dog Eat Dog(?, like they could without Jani), but this is too generic... And before someone write that I don't give them a chance after Jani's Death, well "Born Again" was the last record they did that sound like true Warrant and Jani wasn't there... "Rockaholic" has some good tunes but it wasn't great and I think this goes that way..... Bring the Saint back and do another Born Again, because I'm done....

Jamie didn't fit the band vocally. He is fine in Black and Blue and a great singer, but Born Again was my least favorite

That's true, but I talking about the music on that album and not the vocal perfomance, yep Jamie didn't fit on Warrant.

Cherry Pie is a song that if I never hear again in my life, is too much, lol. I have always hated that spoof style song. Even Jani didn't want to release it on the album. It sounds like something Weird Al would write.

Definitely has that old school Warrant sound. I'd say it's awesome!

Yep! Screw all these negative Nancy's that dont seem to understand that Jani is gone, not coming back.

I'm liking it, it's a bit more 70's sounding than anything they have done before but I'm cool with them not sounding the same every time. A band needs to grow and change it up. Jani Lane is dead and not coming back. Robert Mason is his own singer he isn't Jani and will never sound exactly like him. These guys are carrying on and pay homage to Jani every time they play. Seen them dedicate Heaven to him both times I saw them live with Robert Mason. If you're not into it, move on, there s plenty of other stuff to listen to. That is all I got to say. There is no way to turn back time and this isn't 1988, it's 2017. And no amount of complaining is gonna make the band change their name or change a damn thing... Fact is this was Eric and Jerry's band NOT Jani's..... Jani Lane is dead and times change. I prefer to be positive and just enjoy the music for what it is, not what it was.
