I've finished all seasons tho, and now listening to it understood that it's in one of the last episodes of the current season. Don't let the spoilers move you away from the show tho; it's the best TV series I have ever watched. I cry every season.

I hope that if CD Project Red does a forth Witcher game, they hire Wardruna to do the soundtrack.

Because the music created by Wardruna fits both the tone and atmosphere. It was more of a “dream team” wish list than anything.

But the Scandinavian vs Eastern European argument is foolish. That’s like saying heavy metal doesn’t belong in a Japanese game because the artists are from the United States. Who cares!

@Freeman 77 I get what you meant. But it's not the same thing. Maybe without any lyrics it could work but Witcher is so rooted in Polish and Slavic origin with its mythology and atmosphere that having Nordic folk music over it would be very out of place, at least with the lyrics being sung in Norwegian and Old Norse. EXCEPT in a Skellige setting.
But if it was purely instrumental then maybe, yeah. Or if they got someone to write lyrics in Polish, for example.

@Nez Witcher 3 has the tradiitonal Scottish song Bonnie At Morn in the soundtrack called Oxenfurt, it doesn't future pure Polish music. That's from the top of my head, there's likely more
