Wanda Jackson - Two Separate Barstools Lyrics

(One love is breaking in two)

Two lonely people drinking alone both with a lot on their minds
Each of them thinking the others untrue killing their pain with the wine

On two separate barstools in two separate bars
Sit two separate fools, me and you
Lost in two foolish worlds built by two doubting minds
While one love is breaking in two

I picture you at a party somewhere having the time of your life
You can see me in some other man's arms pretending that I'm not your wife

On two separate barstools in two separate bars
Sit two separate fools, me and you
Lost in two foolish worlds built by two doubting minds
While one love is breaking in two
While one love is breaking in two

Wanda Jackson Two Separate Barstools Comments

Been so long since I had listened to this that I had to scroll down to see if I had even watched it, and/or left a remark, which I did. Nice to hear it again. Connie Smith and Wanda Jackson are my two favorite country music divas. How Connie got into the CMHOF, but Wanda hasn't, is so glaringly unfair!

Probably cause Wanda didn’t remain traditional enough is my guess, cause I know some of her stuff rocks too much for me at least. Cool you know her good country albums Milton, hope your thanksgiving is a good one

    Something told
me that you would be right on with
    listening to this
    one.😃 Now, onto
the "British Invasion": Jonathan King on
EVERYONE'S GONE TO THE MOON, Willybeable channel, Gerry &
Pacemakers, Don't Let the Sun Catch
    YOU..., & The New
Hope, WON'T FIND BETTER THAN ME. (Whenever I don't
    list a channel, that
    means the song
is the fist selection to automatically
    pop up when you
    type or speak it
    in.)😊😊😊😊😃

LOL, Milton, what a surprise seeing you here! Those barstools must be for you and I. I hope to get to your leads today

    R.... B....

    Half the world is
    probably sitting on these
    same bar stools,
    but don't know it!

    R.... B....

Oh you are probably right! Caused by lack of communication!

Once again, I was just aimlessly pushing thumbnails, after
listening to a lot of Lesley Gore videos, and thank goodness this popped up! Long
one of my favorites! It never
gets boring surfing on you tube!😁😀😁😃😄
(This is another "Ruth Boykin Special!"😆)

Yeah, it’s endless on here and it just gets bigger and bigger. Glad you found this one Milton. I still have some David Houston to post for you. And I also just got me some Bobby Lewis 45’s so I’ll see if I can get good sound quality from them.

I had this song on a mixed 8 track tape once. Only song I liked out of the whole tape. Played it till it broke, hadn't heard it since, like for decades till now. Love it more now I think, than I did then. Many thanks for giving it back to me after all these years!

    J.... H....

glad you found it on here to enjoy again Jeff.

This album back in 1970 was giving to me by a Memphis Tn. Disc Jockey at KWAM-FM 101 (called K-WAM fm 101) by the dj's, the dj who gave it to me is now known as Jerry (The King) Lawler the wrestler on WWE. he was 21 at the time and i was 13. i won Skeeter Davis "A Place In The Country" album in a contest on his show and when i went to the sta. to pick it up he also gave  me this album as well as many 45's single (One was Hello Darlin by Conway & another by Merle Haggard Jesus Take A Hold) thanks for the memory Brent and great song by Wanda

Great story about your memories of this album Pat.  That is awesome you met Jerry Lawler and I didn't even know he was a country DJ!  Wish I grew up in a town like that!  And he was very nice with the prize giveaways!
