Wanda Jackson - In The Middle Of A Heartache Lyrics

I'm in the middle of a heartache half out half in
Not quite out of love with you not too much in love with him
I'm in the middle of a heartache half way half blue
Can't give all my love to him when I'm still in love with you

Just when I think that I've forgotten you the mem'ry of your love grows dim
That old pain starts again of wanting you more than I ever wanted him
I'm in the middle of a heartache heart old heart new
Can't give all my love to him when I'm still in love with you

Just when I think...

Awww... So wonderful to see the pic of this little purple 45! I was so taken with Wanda Jackson as a kid. I still have several of these little purple 45's. I have this one, "Funnel of Love", and "Right or Wrong". I played the heck out of these things on my little faux alligator record player. To this today, she is still one of my favorite artists. Way ahead of her time 🎼💃🎤

Dear Google, take your right wing fascist ads and blow up!

    W.... J....

    Why bring this
    up on this channel, you
    infernal trolling
    Jackass. You
    sound like a
    fascist knuck-
    headed follower
    on Benito Mussolini, with
    your words "blow up." You
    don't come off
    as the brightest
    bulb on the Christmas tree,
    either. Buzz off,
    and go haunt a
    house!!!!

It's criminal that they just don't write 'em and sing 'em like this anymore.   The crap that's known as country music today just doesn't measure up.

+Roger “Artful Dodger” Dee I can agree with you there.

Roger Dee I agree 100% country music these days is more pop than country.I got sirus radio and there are several good classic country stations. And it is not expensive I pay 30.00 a month for two radios

My grandmother wrote this (Laurie (Christenson) her sister Pat wrote the music. But Wanda Jackson changed one word in thr sing or she wouldn't sing it. And this way she is credited and paid as one of the writers. But she was not. And this was Wandas only Gold record.

My favorite Wanda Jackson song,She rates up there with Patsy, Connie, Loretta,& Kitty

  13. F.... J....

This is the best song Wanda ever recorded in my opinion. She was and still is one of the greatest ever!!!

    F.... J....

I agree - I always thought this and "I Can't Help It (If I'm Still in Love with You}" would combine nicely into one number. I can't seem to sing one without slipping into the other. And this is when Country WAS Country -- something to be taken to heart. Love the strings and chorus on this. 1/2018

She is a very nice person and my friend.. This record was one of the most played and
Right or Wrong.. so I guess some of the folks liked it.. I know I did.. we celebrated her
birthday together her and Wendel..They have been married for a long, long time for
artists.. she is a wonderful person..
