Ive never watched skins but if i did and it made me aware of this band I'd be bloody thankful about it and not ashamed because i didnt discover it on the day of release in some coffee shop in Paris while i was painting a girl across the street and crying into my latte

@RSRatornra I have never seen the show. However, judging form review that I read a while back, it was a dirty TV show about a bunch of teenagers. Also, judging form some ads that they had on MTV, it looked like Skins took place in High School.So, pretty much a grown up Glee, I guess. I just stumbled on most of the music by being bored on Youtube, and I love it.

Honestly who cares. Great music is just great music. So much of it never gets heard by the general public. A few gems filter through the net of corporate bullshit every now and then. It bothers me that people claim to like something not having looked for it and found it due to do some fundamental passion or interest that is inherent to their persona. ever since this was on that tv show kids have been bouncing off the wall, saying that they were fans of the band, just like with dinosaur jr
however, those kids (that are huge fans) don´t even listen or comment on the other songs, only the ones that appear on skins
it makes you wonder if they are really in here for the music or for the "hip status"

have loved this band for a while, got to see them live at lee's in toronto, blew me away , my friend got tobe in their horn section for a part of their tour.love it, this song has single handedly helped me remember a past girl in an extremely positive light ( and yes, she was actually canadian) whom i left as i left the country. brilliant
