Amazing song and voice! But that music video... the friends' relationship looked superficial. That was like the ultimate bro culture. The dude is obviously struggling with work/money, but the friends just make him go buy liquor and say cheer the f up. These are the kind of 'friends' that will bring you down in life. Str8 toxic.

Listening to a friend and wallowing in their sadness are two different things. These 'friends' didn't do either though. These friends either don't know how to help a friend who is struggling, or they don't care to help. Either way their relationship isn't good for him.

I'm unsure as to whether three friends listening to each other would make a cool music video Mr Manic Jest, it might get a little dry after the 30 second mark. I am all for the three of them becoming debauched nobodies, living for the good times, throwing chips on the floor, sharing girlfriends and running away from faceless oppressors. Perhaps they are running away from all their friends that just want to sit and listen to them? Long Live These Party Legends. ✌️
