I was the oldest lady at his concert in Minneapolis this past September. It was my first exposure to Butch's music. My daughter loves his genre, and I was her guest. Well, I have to say that I immensely enjoyed his concert!!!!! (I'm almost 65!!) Pretty Melody was my favorite song of the evening, with Record Store was a close second. I had to buy three of his CDs! Go figure!!!

I came for Brendon and Spencer, but I stayed for the great song. This is my first time hearing it and I really liked the song as well as the video.

That's awesome she introduced you to Butch. I'm 50 and he's 49 if I remember correctly. I use to hang with him along with a band they had between Southgang and Marvelous 3 or The Black Windows.
They were all from Rome GA and a couple small towns/suburbs outside of Atlanta about 45 min . We all were from the same area and knew way back then he'd be doing great things and mostly making great music. I never tired of hearing them over and over live. Cool that 30 years later you're just hearing him sing the first time and your 65.

This is the first time I ever heard this song, and love it..although I just about moved on to something else when I started watching the video for it...it's funny how sometimes a song can seem just ok, but then you see a video, or read the lyrics and it really moves you. This one had the opposite effect on me...watching the Marty McFly looking character made me think twice about whether I liked it or not...so I closed my eyes, and ouila, I liked it...just saying
