Walker Brothers, The - He'll Break Your Heart Lyrics

He don't love you
Like I love you
If he did he wouldn't
Break your heart
He don't love you
Like I love you
He's tryin' to tear us apart

Fare thee well
I know you're leavin'
For the new love
That you've found
That handsome guy
You've been datin'
I've got a feelin'
He's gonna put you down

He don't love you
Like I love you
If he did he wouldn't
Break your heart
He don't love you
Like I love you
He's tryin' to tear us apart

He uses all the great locations
He says the things
I wish I could say
But he's had so many rehearsals, girl
To him it's just another play

And when the final act is over
And you're left standin' all alone
When he takes his bow
And makes his exit
Oh darling, then
I'll be there to take you home

He don't love you
Like I love you
If he did he wouldn't
Break your heart
He don't love you
Like I love you
He's tryin' to tear us apart

He don't love you (and he never will)
Like I love you
If he did he wouldn't break your heart
He don't love you
Like I love you
He's tryin' to tear us apart

    Class!! Best voice ever.

  7. Pat Webb

Actually, before Gary Leeds joined (And, definitely US) So must be 64/5

    Christine Cronje

Pat Webb . John was original lead singer of WB when Scott joined as bass guitarist and extra vocal. Philips wanted a deeper voice for Make it Easy on yourself and used Scott’s perfect voice although to this day he insists he wasn’t and isn’t a vocalist. Could have fooled me 😁. I put it at late 64 in USA.

    Audrey Bolton
