I don't hear James Bond when I listen to this great song. Never made the association.

It's interesting how much he sounds like Jim Morrison here, especially when he sings
Brother beware; almost like a Morrison which didn't found the Doors, but a large orchestra.
Sometimes I think that if he hadn't died, he'd have followed a similar musical path to Scott Walker

Ian Oliver This would make a great James Bond theme song.

Now some gifted video artist should put together a Maurice Binder-style title sequence to go with this song.  Definitely sounds like a Bond theme from some parallel universe.

Was going to watch this film but clicked this first, cool song. Never really knew about The Walker Brothers until now when I read their bio. I heard The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore of course but have not thought about it or heard it for 25 years, thanks for the upload. 

I can't imagine being young when quality like this was in the charts. Amazing.

+Leeds Fanzines Sadly and strangely this didn't chart well at all - as oddly others at this time didn't. Try Another Tear Falls folks - it seems to go well with this one.

Powerful opening. How many voices have ever had the depth and can resonate as Scott's can?

Yet again a theme song that was superior to the movie it supported.
It's too bad the Walkers were not asked to sing any of the Bond Themes of the day?

Amazing voice! It's even funny that a slim little fair-haired guy like Scott Walker has such a gorgeous deep baritone that can easily compete with Elvis' and Sinatra's!

And yes, it is definitely the James Bond sound! ;)
