Wage War - Indestructible Lyrics
To all the ones who have helped me along the way
I owe a debt I could never repay
Carried on the shoulders of strangers
No room for doubt, lead by faith, never failure
The great unknown could be an early grave
On a long road with the end in our sights
Tragedy takes it away like a thief in the night
I pray it's not over
Won't remain broken, I'm looking for closure
I'm scared, didn't think it'd come with a cost
That people would change, that lives could be lost
I'm having nightmares where fate leaves us for dead
Never imagined a price on our heads
I woke up screaming
I felt my heart sink in
I miss the days when I felt indestructible, indestructible
We're veering over lines that shake me every time
I miss the days when I felt indestructible, indestructible
It wasn't supposed to be like this
I lived in a world where darkness didn't exist
Mortality is a beautiful thing
Embrace it, don't waste it
You're the one who pulls the strings
Heavy win, heavy loss
I'm moving forward (moving forward)
No matter what the cost
I woke up screaming
I felt my heart sink in
I miss the days when I felt indestructible, indestructible
We're veering over lines that shake me every time
I miss the days when I felt indestructible, indestructible
Indestructible, indestructible
I still carry you with me
I woke up screaming
I felt my heart sink in
I miss the days when I felt indestructible, indestructible
So write this on my stone if I don't make it home
I tried my best but I'm not indestructible, indestructible
Even through the darkest nights
All hope is not lost
All hope is not lost

Wage War Indestructible Comments
2:33 us so nice
a month ago I got jumped by a group of 5 guys walking home from school. I was physically assaulted, and all my belongings were taken. I swear this song was made for my situation. I’ve felt so many different emotions the past month, and it helps knowing there’s a way I can relate.
“To all the ones who have helped me along the way, I owe a debt I could never repay”
I still feel guilt with how much time my friends have put into helping me out even though I know if this happened to one of them I would help in a heartbeat. Plus, that’s what friends are for
“On a long road with no end in sight, tragedy takes it away like a thief in the night”
In my case it was a literal thief in the night lol but still hits hard for me
“I’m scared, didn’t think it’d come with a cost”
I’ve been through a lot in my life, so I thought I could power through this situation but I’ve had so many mental setbacks that I didn’t anticipate.
“I woke up screaming, I felt my heart sink in, I miss the days when I felt indestructible.”
I’ve literally woken up in the middle of the night with panic attacks. One of the many things I didn’t anticipate to be dealing with in this situation. Like I said, I’ve dealt with a lot in life so I’ve prided myself on my independence and strength so now, when I feel so helpless and weak, it’s hard to come to terms with the fact that I’m not indestructible.
thanks wage war for helping me out
this band puts others to shame
top track from them for sure
❤️❤️❤️
Has anyone felt that Cody Quistad's voice is quite similar to Zandro Santiago (Dead by April's ex clean vocalist) ?
does it really say all hope is not lost or all hope is the cross. i keep rewinding it and cant seem to agree with the lyrics written down 3:33

this song is SO GOOD.
I fucking love this band, they are immense live!
That key change at 2:57 <33333333333
I was at Rockville this year, 2k19, and was the most excited for your set for the whole weekend lineup, but ended up getting to the venue late on Sunday, and got to the stage RIGHT AS YOUR SET ENDED. God damn the River stage being so far from the North gates. Love you guys tho! Keep up the amazing music!!
Gives me chills bro
3:28 i lost my house... why? cuz i throwed it through the window
You threw your house through the window? W0w
-----------
I hear Demon Hunter...
@Lucas Miller Yes
IF YOU LIVE IN THE *COVERS MOUTH AND ROBOT SAYS WHAT CITY YOURE IN* AREA
The end part of the song made me nut 🤘
They need to all of their songs with the acoustic versions. Seriously they’re so good. They all translate well into acoustic versions.
Why do people call it clean vocals it’s literally just singing no need for that term
Found this band 30 min ago. Every song i listened to is awesome, but this, this is a fucking tasty jam possessing my soul.
3:28 - 100% a day to remember
I can see the influence. But they made it their own and its still a phenomenal breakdown
I feel you wage war

Disturbed indestructible vs wage war indestructible? Which is better
The song to get me through this tough day. Thank you
Hey guys i just posted an instrumental cover of this song
i love this song soo much
This is getting me thru a living nightmare, I'm so grateful for this band.
It's 2018 where is Wage War? Waiting patiently for more songs by them.
They said they are making new songs now while on tour, and they're going to release them in 2019.
I like this album, but to the people who think it outdid Blueprints just fucking stop
This song is the reason I'm surviving medical school. Thank you, Wage War.
Goodlord....this song gave my heart another rhythm... Wonderful vocals, thumping beats grungy perfection
The clean chorus vocals are sick as fuckkkk this guys voice is badasss.
This is probably my favorite song on the album, these guys along with Parkway Drive and Killswitch Engage are my favorites in Metalcore
"INDESTRUCTIBLE" ❤️

❤️❤️ ❤️
This album is pure fucking gold.
Probably my favorite track off the album!
You need more views. This song is seriously awesome 🤘
1:40 = eargasms
I really wanna fucking die or atleast come close to death so this song's helping
This song is good as fuck. Downloading it
3:40 and beyond made me so hard.
I think theres only going to be one breakdown and it hits me with a billy mays "but wait theres more"!
This song is sexy
Oh damnnn !
This song ruined every other good song out there, nothing will ever be as good as this. Holy fuck #musicbone
I love how this song is from the same album as gravity
I need to see this live. ALL HOPE IS NOT LOST!!
Idk how everyone feels but honestly this album isn’t really that good. Like yeah at first I was in love but it was new and after one week I just got bored and went back to blueprints. Like the only good songs are southbound, stitch, deadweight, witness, and Johnny cash. Like other than those songs the rest I got bored and didn’t want to listen to it. Hopefully the next album is going to be so much better and actually have improvement
This and my grave is mine to dig are by far my favorites
The cleans in this are amazing.
Been deployed to this sand hell hole for 11 months and counting. I often daydream of the day when I can get back and get to blow out my fucking ear drums to some wage war in my truck, god damn can not wait. Been specifically avoiding witness so I wont wear it out and enjoy it fresh. You guys don't know how you take something as simple as that for granted. Appreciate everything you have
@Aaron Booker
Thank you so much for your servuce, i am in 9th grade and want to join the military when im older. Again, thank you so much for fighting for our freedom!
1:40 sounds like breakdown of sanity
TTDxEpiphany's Life wish bos was still togather
The opening for this song is the best in the album period.
biggest fan here since the first band "empires-divide" 😬
not a fan of the key change towards the end, everything else is solid.
goes from beautiful to "OPEN THAT FUCKING PIT UP" @ 3:22 💀😂🔥
The rifts are just so good gets me harder and then leads to an indestructible mess
Is this a Memphis cover ?
"Mortality is a beautiful thing, embrace it, don't waste it, you're the one who pulls the strings."
One of my fave liens on teh album, i hope they play this song live a little.
Disturbed came to mind for some reason
That breakdown... wow..
Seeing them in Philly at Self Help. Cant wait.
i like the cleans in this better than most of their songs i usually hate their clean vocalist
That is an epic breakdown towards the end
The clean vocals are just perfict
I made an indestructible accident in my pants to this song
godofwar0678 hahaha what's the fuck 😂😂😂
You fuck, clean yourself up right NOW!
This is one of my favorite songs of the year if not the century. Thanks for the great work, Wage War. Keep it up, two horns up for sure!
Whole album worth to be in "try 2 not headbang" challenge))
The chorus to the song I think is the first thing I've ever disliked by wage war. This song kicks ass until that chorus, just seems way too weak for how good the rest of the song is.
.....EVEN THROOOUUGGHH THE DARKEEESSTT NIIIIGGGHHHTTTSSS....
This is my favorite song on the album hands down . That chorus is so god tier!!!
Say wage war is wage woow 😎😎
That key change, though. Pulled it off perfectly. The breakdown at the end is tasty as well.
Top track of this album.
Best clean vocals that wage war ever had.
allseeingowl 1220 twenty one is the shit
They are good, but Southbound has this one beat.
*Wage War releases Low*
My Grave Is Mine To Dig.... Just sayin'
@havoren there's very little objectivity in art
2:57, I usually hate when the tone of the song changes to like high pitch sound, but this band made it sound perfect!
That made me love them even more than ever!
That's called a key change my friend
Nate Bassili good to know, just started listening to metal bands.
Hod Cohen better late than never, my dude! Also the funny thing is that key changes are a lot more prominent in pop music than metal - it's actually pretty rare to hear one in this genre!
3:13 was pretty much the saving grace to that part. They could have added more to it than a quick moment of the cleans to shine, but it's still fantastic nonetheless. Too bad that bands like Asking Alexandria fucked up with songs like "Moving On" where that part of the cleans could have shined forth and it's especially too bad that bands like Dayshell pull off the great singing part on "Share With Me" but end up removing it in the final cut.
All hope is not lost
came here from tim wheres the link?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
