I think Texas Country is the only real country music out there now. All these new artist coming out all sound the same and sing about the same shit. You can't get any better than what's going down in the lone star state don't matter if Wade Aaron Randy Kevin etc. don't make it big they are already big in Texas and making good music. Even the small groups playing in local country bars sound better than the stuff coming out on cmt.

I was identifying with this song right from the very first line! "Whatever happened to a feeling bad song?", indeed. Seems like all country music stations want to play these days are cliché "good time" songs, while the beautifully-sung sadder tunes are unfortunately few and far between.

Anyway, this is an excellent song by an immensely talented artist! It's one of those that I can constantly replay, and it still sounds just as good every time! Wade has such a terrific singing voice, and it's a real shame he doesn't get any radio play on my local stations.

I'm a Texas boy so I only grew up on Jones, Strait, Wills, Price, Owens, Keen, Zandt, Jennings, Frizzell, Watson, Shaver, Nelson, Chesnutt, Lawerence etc. It's a shame we can't get more stations around here that play Georgia Florida Line, Luke Byron, and Rascal Flaggs type artists.

What's wrong with it? I like how Wade turns down the modern look of a country music video in favor of a more simple, fitting one where he's drowning his sorrows alone in a bar. Also, his reaction to them trying to put him in jeans that are way too small for him is priceless.
