So how come it takes someone who is certainly not known for doing country music to come up with tunes that are actually country, as opposed to all that Rascal Flatts warmed-over boy band stuff? You are a true talent, Aurelio!

Have you thought of recording old traditional goth music? I used to tell the kids mountain and bluegrass music has deep, goth veins. Songs like "Taking Mary Home", "Banks of the Ohio", "Pretty Polly" and many others are deeply disturbing in a wonderful way.

I normally don't like country music, but this album is amazing. You're amazing.

Hahaha... You make me actually enjoy country music!! Like, I'm perfectly fine with it normally, being born and raised in Georgia and all... But my mom and sister are OBSESSED with the annoying kind that is all about stupid things and its all basically the same thing over and over!! I like Johnny Cash... And now you. That's it.

I'm another of those who doesn't like country, but I think all your music is awesome. I bought this album and my husband was like "hey you never listened to country before!", and after listening to it he liked it too. I believe I've made another Voltaire fan of him ^_^

Maybe you are like me and you hate hearing the country accent, which he obviously has none unless he is trying to mock it :P

I have been on tour with a full band three times. The first time it was musicians from NYC that I worked with, the second was with Hellblinki Sextet as my backing band and the third was with This Way to the Egress as the backing band.

Guy is a star, goes on tours and lives it up. People are jealous of him, he has beautiful girls and parties, but he hates it because he doesn't have a real connection with the person he loves back home. That's why he writes postcards to the person and always feels sad. When he says that he "lies, lies, lies, lies on the road" he repeats it because he's lying to himself about his ignoring of his feelings. He could also be cheating and feeling crappy but seems like a stretch.

YEAH! Now I can say that the only country I like is not just Johnny Cash, but Voltaire too!!!:)
