This is literally my all time faivorite Voltaire song. And I've been a fan ever since he's started his you tube channel. I remember learning how to play brains, ex lovers lover, and land of the dead in high school 2012 (sr. Year) but this song i feel deserves an award! Its the perfect example of Voltaire himself. Definantly a good song to introduce people to Voltaire who are trying to get into him.

This is what I like about most Voltaire (aside form his sense of humor and sarcasm in a lot of most of his songs) all his songs speak to people who don't fit in right telling them really not to care at all about what other people think or to wear your weirdness and be it with pride.

Wait, Atom Ant? Wasn't he a troll-character? He was a satirical joke about how easy it was to pitch a cartoon to HB?

Voltaire, this was obviously a passion-project song? Was a parody or was there a reveal here? Are you a Atom Ant-fan or is this a tribute to your Kin?

He really is a good musician and his songs can range anywhere from deep and meaningful to batshit fun and crazy.

How I see this song: This in my opinion is a song about acceptance and understanding of a fellow person who suffers from bullying, depressiong and etc. 
The line ''As for the ones whom we adore,

kinda indicates how the ones who got out of suffering are trying to help or at least support the person who is still ''lost in the storm''. This is how I see it, and i think I am not far off. This song is beautiful.

The first time I heard this song, I didn't like it much. After 100+ listens I am now ready to declare it my favorite song of all time.

Yeah, it's my favorite song, period. Not sure why, it's just so upbeat and catchy. Really cheers me up whenever I'm feeling down.

So I understand this song is a sort of tribute to Adam Ant, and I know it's full of references. The ones I'm getting are the dandy highwaymen (Stand and Deliver) and Prince Charming. Although I'm fairly sure I'm missing some others. Can someone point them out to me?

Okay, when I first heard this song the only thing I could think of was how it described a character from one of my favorite book series.

Voltaire, hearing the first version, and then some of the finished songs, I thought it was going to change A LOT...but like usual, you never disappoint me, and it was even BETTER than the demo version.

I love this song Voltaire, and I love the sound of it all done up, but... I honestly preferred the song as just the drum and acoustic, like you have on soundcloud. It sounded more melancholic, and to me that's the way this song should be played, upbeat but with just the right of melancholy in the lyrics, as well as the feel of "you can't tell me what to do anymore." so I just have to ask.. would there be any way to get the Soundcloud version of this song?
