Katroz was supposed to be Voivod's final album, then the band decided to finish recording the songs that Piggy left behind and release Infini, then call it a day. To this day, they are still going and going strong!!!

They never cease to amaze. Awesome!

Masterpiece. One of the most underrated bands of all time.

You can be a fan or really despise them. But, this is the only metal band that has a discography in which each LP is totally different from the last one, w/out losing what makes them Voivod. You really have to listen to all their LP'S from Nothing face to the new LP. To see the different sounds from the different era's in metal. To really appreciate what they have done. From a music standpoint. That is what you should always try to create. A different perspective to your sound w/out selling out to the ''times''. In my opinion, they're is no other metal band that has accomplished this feat in metal history. Hence, ''always moving''.

I would start at War and Pain for sure. Killing Technology at the very latest. None of their albums are as heavy as the first two, and Dimension Hatross is the largest evolutionary leap and most cohesive album from my perspective.

This video should have a disclaimer: "To be listened with good headphones" seriously, the song is great and the production elevates it to the realm of thr amazing. If you are listening to this in your phone or laptop's speakers you are doing yourself a huge disservice

ALWAYS MOVING...that's them! They never stand still and rest on the recognition they already obtained. Though I prefer the stylistic direction they took in Obsolete beings, this track proves they are the antithesis of banality, that's why they never disappoint. Special thanks to Dan Mongrain (guitar master and musical genius) for keeping our dream alive after Piggy's departure, and thanks to all of you guys! -7 days to Voivod's gig in Rome! I like that Chewy's own style is starting to come out more; there's definitely still a good nod to D'Amour, but this feels like a step into some new ground. Can't wait to hear it live!!
