Been listening to this song off an on for some time. Found out last night that a friend attempted to take his own life and they are taking him off life support soon. Its hard stuff, not emo or any thing, but i didn't know where else to post this so I can get it out of my head for a little while.

Geez... I remember the first day heard this song, I was just waking up to the sound of crying, it was my grandma, crying real hard becuase that was the day my grandpa passed away, and when he got taken back to his home community, me, by brother, my uncle and his girlfriend at the time, we were driving back to the community. And he played this song.... my uncle was crying already, then he started crying real hard because of this song. He looked at my brother. Red eyes from crying, asked him something. Then covered his eyes and continued to cry. made me cry too, I was holding my niece who was a newborn at the time, I just looked at her with tears running down my face..... thinking about the future, around this time January 28th 2020. My grandpa passed away 2013.... still feels like yesterday. Still love him😔😞😭

This was the first song I heard after perhaps the most traumatic duration in my life. Miss you Grandma, you were my joy and happiness. I found this song on late night college radio many years ago and it is being carried with me even now.

My friend told me his love of his life left him for his best friend, he knew the both of them for years. This song makes me think about him. I can't help but to cry

My brother is dead. He was 28. Jeremy saw the world like Senua and he lived a hard life because of it. He needed help and the system failed him. We failed him. He was a loving and good man. In this universe he'll live on in the hearts of his family and friends. His daughter will carry his blood into the future. His organs will save lives. He's a hero. I love you Jeremy. I'll miss you.

I found this song thanks to my dad. I was seven. He was playing it in the car and I asked him, what’s the song about? He told me it was an amazing song, about a father telling his daughter to not change herself. I didn’t understand at that age, but now I do.
