This song describes just where I am now with the lyrics “so far from shores I’d left behind, still far from shores I’ve yet to reach”. Isn’t it amazing how you can relate to music on such a personal level?

Great electronic sound, great inspiration, wise words and great Ronan's vocals interpretation. On my opinion one of the best results you can achieve in electronic music.

This music is not mainstream because they wound never sale out

There is something impenetrably sad and indescribable in VNV's music. As if their compositions were written by someone wise beyond their years who had known the bitter taste of defeat... But who will also one day know victory.

2017, the best year of my entire life, is nearly over, yet I play this song loud everytime I can.

I often listen to this and then Solitary Experiments - Homesick. Both have that melancholic feeling as if I am far away from home at 5pm in early december, feeling sad and just want to get home. Great atmosphere.

Well I have travelled to the other side of the world to start a new life. It has been a struglle but this song has helped me. This is my anthem so much I can relate to whilst before it was just a great song.

This song makes me envision a space traveler, perhaps the first to explore a distant world, unsure of what he will find when he reaches it, at the moment he realizes that he is further than any other person has been from Earth, and thus, his family. But, he realizes he has a mission, and that his memories of his family are enough to keep him going, although his memories are fading, as they are assurance that he still loved and remembered on Earth.

Ok, so apparently this track fixes the issues I had with alot of music of theirs. They keep the interesting-ness of the music outside of the singing, have less singing, have the vocals less prominent and the singing is just...better. More emotive. Its like they moved from the 80's to 2010.

They performed this Song at Blackfield Festival 2009 in Gelsenkirchen Nordsternpark. I had sent them an email and wished the song and explained why the song is emotional important for me and especially playing the song at that Rhein-Herne channel. The did it, they played the Song. It was great. One of my Best Moments in the that very year.

This song speaks to me. I can relate to the lyrics. Got me through a lot.
