Vince Staples - Martin Ruger King Lyrics
[Vince Staples:]
Doctors getting nervous
They running out of prescriptions
Mentally demented emotions are non-existent
Mother contemplating if this could've been prevented
Well, really?
You can blame it all on the Ridolin and Zoloft
That had me seeing Satan in my playpen
Family, I hate them
They prayers never did shit
Fuck is God supposed to understand
The pain he never had to deal with
Hell: he never been there
But forced me to live in
Don't ask me why I'm sinning
Either be the victim or the first to shoot
Grab the Ruger and a clip or two
I want this ballad to be played at my funeral service
For a child, 17, whose brutally murdered
By himself, tortured for years
The one voice nobody ever wanted to hear
So, the ones inside of his head had to take control
God wouldn't take my soul, if that shit was free of charge
Satan neither, I need a breather from all this breathing
Grab a trigger and squeeze it
Martin Ruger King

Fuck god
Yo please remember us when you blow up my man
M.C. Ballyhoo facts
i been blown up
Why is this shit so hot
This is that Vince I remember!
Vince old style sounds like Tyler but actually good.
Xander Martinez all of OF was riding a similar wave anyways.
Xander Martinez More coherent. The older I get I realize that Tyler is just babbling word soup into something that sounds good but doesn’t really say anything
+xander martinez They have never had similar context. Honestly that's a diss toward vince to say so.
@Don Ramses tyler been like that..hes not the best lyricist but he can flow and throw words together pretty well...he just be having some corny punchlines and metaphors lol
Yeah that’s a poor comparison

check it
god wouldn't take my soul if that shit was free of charge
"The fuck is god supposed to understand the pain he never had to deal with, hell he never been in"-Vince is dope that line has so much thought in it think about it in all the stories of the bible does god ever experience hell for himself? As for Vinces newer stuff i think its just as good as his old stuff, admittedly people sleep on his older material. I mean I didn't even know about Winter in Prague or Stolen Youth for awhile and those are just as good as hell can wait or summertime different but just as good. His stuff on Mike g's Award tour ep is crazy.
metalahhhhhhhhhhhh i mean he did get tortured and nailed up to a cross and not be fed and got stabbed for fun... but noooo im sure that's not hell at all.
Daniel Dalush that was Jesus you dumb dumb not God
Daniel Dalush L
Vince's old shit is my favorite. i really can't fuck with his new sound
nah man. listen to shyne coldchain 1 / stolen youth / winter in prague and then listen to summertime 06.. different flow, and his voice sounds super different. the beats aren't raw like his older shit +BigBangTheory92
@kew20 I've heard all of Vince's projects i'm from Cali (Not that, that has anything to do with anything) but dude Lift Me Up isn't raw? Norf Norf? Birds and Bees? Like it Is? His voice back then was mad boring though he was still lyrical. You gotta look he didn't start taking rap serious until he did the joint tape with Mac. Dude is a monster now. He's got the energy and the bars now. I think his voice and flow back then were just mad weak ya know but it was still enjoyable.
his old stuff is really dope but come on... he has gone for better. Well, as he says, now he cares about the music he works on but back then he didn't care about nothing
eh, i guess i just like his old stuff more. just my opinion
theres another song with this same exact beat idk who it is but i remember hearing this beat on another song anybody know ?
Pouya - max
yeahhhhhhh good looking fam
noah gonzalez sounds kinda like that one Sade song
Love In Love Out by Cormega

ahhh old vince
MagicWhip Yester Timeless
wish there wasn't those soft chords, it would make it fell dark
Shit got me thinking.
Not everyone believes in God. Not everyone believes what the Bible says to be true. Some might not even believe on the same terms as you do. Thats the fickle thing about religion. How does an outside person determine another's faith. Anyway, it doesn't fucking matter. Obviously Vince Staples is saying that God/Faith was never there for him so he's doing what he has to do to survive.
This is nice.
exactly. It's simply food for thought
Zeitgeist is a bunch of propaganda bullshit weak minded nigga
Nate Deuce so’s the Bible nigga
DID YOU WATCH ZEITGEIST ?
RESEARCH WHERE THE BIBLE COMES FROM. WATCH ZEITGEIST. NOW.
YOU ARE.
how am i a "dumb motherfucker" if he said that in the song........
ill wait...
That cover art tho
That maybach music sample killed Rick Ross's shit cx
Fuck Is God Suppose To Understand The Pain He Never Had To Deal With....enough said !
Thank you, Earl.
from a christian point of view I cant agree with him, but respecting his views life's overall moral value I can say
it is not a bad song
accidental comment and shit.... my bad
I woulda wrote a ballad
I think I get the album cover.
MLK is a man looked up by the black community.
What he's saying is that the new leaders of the black community
(gucci in particular) are now morons. That's how I interpret it anyway.
Of course he playing on the golf course with his master but he can't spend a day with the kid he can master?
When he the one who commit what I see is unfeasible, unreasonable and unreadable in the force, to exalt his heart is improbable, fuck him
My splendor forced to the blender by my grip, vader pissed it's visible how he suppose to get the feeling of a avid and invisible dad?
It's Expose Mike G actually
haha the movement. "Expose Staples"
shut up
It's so simplistic, yet so wow.
Vince staples is basically the rap version of Eeyore from Winnie the poo .
I like Vince but I think he needs to read and actually understand what it says in the Bible.
jesus is god muthafucka
God is god, and Jesus was the son of god, so it says in the Bible.
If Jesus isn't God, then who is?
Iam a realy positive person but I love the deep dark flow Vince got on his tracks!
Jesus did, not god.
I didn't understand that line tho....did Jesus not come in the flesh? He had to deal with just as many, if not more problems than we deal with.
so fucking hard.
"fuck is god suppose to understand the pain he never dealed with" its been so long since i heard such REALNESS
This song's sick as heck dude. Too bad there's only one verse!
that picture is sooo terrible dude wow
Maybock Music lol
cormega beat slowed down, love in love out....thats why vince staples is that nigga
the picture completes the vibe...
